Short and sweet. 38 minutes of tracks mixed and produced by Firefly. The mix contains his work from both the hardcore and DnB genres. Some very nice work it is, too. Firefly’s had tracks featured on ReBuild Muisc in recent years, and he’s one to keep an eye on. Check out his SoundCloud for more. Download link below (no tracklist as of yet, sorry).
After having featured Matt Envy & Frooty’s remix of Example’s Kickstarts last week, we thought we’d dig out Sc@r’s version from late last year. Two totally different takes on an already top tune. We can’t work out who’s we like better. Can you? Starts Again is the first freebie from top label Raw Elements. Check out their website, and keep up to date with Sc@r herself over on SoundCloud. Also, keep your eyes peeled for Hardcore Elements, a brand new hardcore compilation album, due out in late April, mixed by Sc@r & Uplift. Download link and YouTube video for Starts Again below.
Cheeky little EP from a chap called Mr. Mann. The first track is Groundshaker, a pretty fierce and serious sounding instrumental number. It threatens to beak into a bit of Gabber in various parts, but resists nicely. Very cool track. The second is Curbstomp, which is a much more playful affair. Good euphoric vibes, with some gradual builds and big releases – would be a good one on the dancefloor. For more on Mr. Mann, check out his SoundCloud. He’s got some really varied stuff on there. Trance, Hardcore, DnB, Dubstep. YouTube vids and download links below.
