Once again, the Summer Gathering returns to its spiritual location of Birmingham. We know you love raving under the stars as well as the atmosphere created in the Rojac Warehouse and across the Custard Factory site. To improve upon the last Summer Gathering we have also secured the use of the Box Complex – a new venue which will be absolutely perfect for one of the biggest events of the year.

With 2 road closures, an outdoor stage, 4 indoor arenas as well as everything you’ve come to expect from HTID such as top quality production, multiple laser systems, merchandise stalls, hot & cold food and much, much more.

We’re pleased to announce that the Unknown Soundsystem will be powering the Techno arena for the first time ever. This coupled with the ravers favourite, the mighty EV-Lav powering the Rojac and the Outdoor Stage is the recipe for a night of aural perfection!

***DJ BUBBLE DOES THE SAHARA TREK***

HTID’s favourite roving DVD reporter and DJ has always been known for his love of work for charity, but this time he’s going for the BIG ONE, The Sahara Trek in May 2012, all in aid of Parkinson’s UK!

Across 6 days, covering over 100km he and his friend Mark will be trekking through Morocco, beyond the Jebel Saghro region, a forbidding landscape punctuated by stark peaks, formidable gorges and bright oases!

As part of the training to get fit for this once in a lifetime experience, both Bubble and Mark will be walking from Northampton to the Custard Factory in Birmingham to raise funds for what I’m sure you can all agree is an extremely worthy cause.
