There’s a delightful selection of merchandise available to buy from the new Stamina webstore. Various styles of t-shirt, phones cases and bottle-opener key rings. Everything’s solidly priced. It’s good to see a label in Hardcore – outside the handful at the top – pushing their own merchandise and trying to establish themselves as a brand. The scene needs professionally-run outfits like this. Please get stuck in with some purchases and support your scene.
A.B operated the HardBeats Download store up until its closure a couple of years ago, and I can assure you from first-hand experience that users will receive excellent customer service and support from him.

29.11.13. wasn’t only the launch date for the new Stamina website, it was also the release date for undoubtedly one of the most anticipated EPs of the year. STM019 is serious shit, and it’s my favourite release from the label to-date.

STM019-AA | A.B – This
Showcasing the power of the capabilities of the Yin Yang concept that underpins Stamina, label-boss A.B pieces together two completely contrasting sounding cuts to make one deliciously whole EP. Heavy and hard-hitting upfront vibes take charge on the digital A-side, with chopped glistening vocal stutters harmonising alongside one seriously big-room trance-inspired supersaw hit. Thrown down with a ferocious kick and bass combo, tension-injecting soaring synths and huge reverb-swathed smashing snare fills, ‘This’ suddenly makes its moniker mean so much more. Root yourself to the dancefloor and enjoy at high volume as Stamina’s trademark A-side sound blows the rave apart.

STM019-AA | A.B – Carburettor
Renowned for simultaneously satisfying the underground as well as pushing the boundaries to an upfront crowd, A.B’s ‘Carburettor’ offers the perfect alternative to pretty much anything else out there! An exercise in creativity and another thumping injection of #LondonTechno for Stamina, this is the utterly insane follow on to the industrial sounds kick-started by previous release ‘Engine’. Techy-tinged grinding beats lock alongside metallic loops and notch things firmly up a gear as the clattering and brutal bass-heavy vibes give way to a deceptively beautiful breakdown; crowds will transform to and from a united stomping frenzy to a hands-in-the-air single entity. With some sections of the track reaching speeds of 300+BPM, this is NOT for the feint of heart. High-energy stuff solely for those with extreme Stamina only!
Buy Carburettor from the Stamina webstore | 320 MP3, WAV, CD.

Strength In Numbers is a forthcoming physical compilation album. The release is a collaborative effort between Stamina Records and Strictly For The Purist. Two CDs of unmixed tracks, and a third CD mixed by A.B and Douglas and hosted by Obie and Macca. A formal release date is yet to be announced, but it shouldn’t be too long now. This album has been a long time in the making and is set to be really rather naughty – so watch this space.
