There’s been a bit of a Breakbeat explosion over the last six-to-twelve months, and if’s a genre that appeals to you, you should definitely check this out. It’s probably closer to Drum & Bass than Breakbeat Hardcore, but it’s definitely worth checking out.
A Freeform offering from Firefly this time, via the interesting Harmonize Digital label. A reminder: Harmonize Digital features tracks – all for free – from a whole range of genres. Definitely worth checking them out.
Electrux (A.K.A. Firefly) makes his second Hardcore Highlights appearance of the day. This is the second Electrux Podcast, having launched with the first episode in early May. There are some excellent tracks in here.
Cracking tune from a cracking label that I’ve only just discovered. Some of you may well be aware of it already, but I have only very recently encountered Harmonize Digital. Harmonize Digital is an entirely free download label, and it is run by Firefly (A.K.A Electrux). The label features tracks from a huge variety of genres, including: Hardcore Breaks / Nu Rave, House, Techno, Freeform, UK Hardcore, Drum & Bass, Hardscape.
Short and sweet. 38 minutes of tracks mixed and produced by Firefly. The mix contains his work from both the hardcore and DnB genres. Some very nice work it is, too. Firefly’s had tracks featured on ReBuild Muisc in recent years, and he’s one to keep an eye on. Check out his SoundCloud for more. Download link below (no tracklist as of yet, sorry).
